David Foster is an international artist and sculptor specializing in traditional and contemporary fine art applications.

David Foster holds an M.A. in sculpture from San Francisco State University and a B.S. in Art from the University of Wisconsin. Mr. Foster is Professor Emeritus and former Chairman of Art (1976 - 2008) at Lake Tahoe Community college and professor of Art History, Drawing, Design, Painting and Sculpture. His European travel experience began in 1989 with a sabbatical studying the art and museums of France, Italy, Belgium and Holland; and in the following years, studies to Spain, England, Germany, Austria and Greece. Mr. Foster has conducted study abroad programs in France in 1995, 1996, 2000, 2005 and 2007; Italy in 1997 and 2002; and Greece in 1999, 2006.

As a practicing and exhibiting artist, Mr. Foster produces bronze and marble sculpture. Since 2001 he has emphasized marble carving in Pietrasanta, Italy and at his Lake Tahoe studio.
